International management consulting firm Elixirr has welcomed Sam Subesinghe to its leadership team in London.

Appointed a partner, Sam Subesinghe brings over 25 years of experience working in the financial services sector in the UK and US, all of which he gained at KPMG.

Subesing joined the Big Four firm straight out of university in 1996 and spent most of his career consulting across the financial services market, and most recently served as Head of Financial Services IT Audit in the UK.

In the role, Subesinghe led a team of 200 technology specialists spanning over eight offices and was responsible for delivering growth, quality, and innovation across the practice. He led a portfolio of digital transformation, technology risk management projects, cyber, cloud, and data projects, with a focus on FTSE 100 clients.

“I first met Sam in the ’90s and worked with him in KPMG’s IT Audit and Consulting practice. I always knew he would succeed and build a brilliant career in these fields. He certainly has done this,” said Stephen Newton, Founder and CEO of Elixirr.

The financial services sector is one of Elixirr’s powerhouse industry verticals, the firm works for leading financial services companies worldwide including HSBC, Absa Bank and Bank of America.
