Global consulting firm BearingPoint has bolstered its Salesforce capabilities with the acquisition of Smplicity, a London-based consultancy with around 20 consultants.

The deal, BearingPoint’s third this year, deepens BearingPoint’s Salesforce expertise in the United Kingdom and accelerates the growth of the firm’s already fast-growing Salesforce practice. A Platinum Partner, BearingPoint now has over 200 staff dedicated to the Salesforce platform.

“I am delighted to welcome the Smplicity team to the BearingPoint family. Their proven track record in delivering Salesforce solutions to their clients complements our existing Salesforce practice, and will enhance our strong position in this space,” said Kiumars Hamidian, Managing Partner of BearingPoint.

BearingPoint expands Salesforce capabilities with Smplicity

Founded in 2016, Smplicity is a Salesforce Partner with dozens of engagements under its belt. The firm advises clients on Salesforce setup and integration with business processes, supports the build and implementation phase, and provides ongoing support through maintenance & operations services.

Among the organisations Smplicity showcases on its roster of clients are Keep Driving, NurtureUK and Wexer, as well as professional services firms BDO and Selbey Anderson.

“Their highly skilled experts bring extensive experience across diverse sectors such as insurance, retail, media, publishing, and professional services,” said Eric Conway, who oversees BearingPoint’s UK & Ireland business and wider GROW region.

“With a continued focus on growth of our Salesforce practice, the experience that Smplicity has in this space is a fantastic fit for BearingPoint – both strategically and culturally. The addition of Smplicity is truly exciting,” he added.

Earlier this year, BearingPoint closed a team hire Finland and a deal in France. The firm’s latest inorganic move in the UK goes back to 2019, when public services consultancy Prederi was bolted-on, two years on from the purchase of supply chain consultancy LCP Consulting.

“With our shared vision and values, I am confident that the Smplicity team will fit seamlessly into BearingPoint. We will continue to focus on delivering leading solutions that meet the needs of our clients, and I look forward to further building our joint Salesforce capabilities,” said Goolshun Belut, CEO of Smplicity.

The deal comes shortly after BearingPoint announced its fastest growth rate since its return to independence.
